SUPPORT VICTIMS OF THE QUAKES

First posted on the 'International Friends of China'
facebook page, and the pro-PRC facebook group (of 29,000
english-speaking members) 'Tibet IS, WAS and ALWAYS WILL BE a Part of China' facebook group.

**LET US FOCUS ON SUPPORTING THE RELIEF EFFORT**

We can see the the people of Sichuan, the PLA and PRC
government have taken immediate and swift action in the
relief effort for the victims of the earthquakes. We can be
sure that they will live up to the challenge of dealing
with a disaster the scale of which has not been seen in
China for decades.

Can I suggest that the best way we can defend the/our
Chinese people, our pride in our/the Chinese nation and
system is to support the organisation of relief by local
communities, social & welfare organisations, the PLA and
the government.

We should contribute in whatever small or big way that we
can.

Let the reactionaries, racists and eurocentrics mock and
attack us, but let us not be diverted from this central
task.

And for our/us non-Chinese international friends of China,
let us show our support for an independent and assertive
country and people by raising our voices and actions in
support of the Chinese people, as an act of friendship and
internationalism.

Our thoughts are with the victims of the earthquake.

I would also suggest that non-China residents get in touch
with their country's Chinese embassies.
